Amateur Radio Operators (HAMS) of Monterey County

support local agencies whenever an emergency calls for extra communication resources. Although we are called "amateurs" we are very professional in the level of service we provide as a volunteer (non paid) network of highly skilled communication personnel.

MC-AEC is a governing organization responsible for fundraising

and is fully sanctioned as an operating club by ARRL National.

Wednesday evenings at 1930 hours on the following frequencies:

2 meters 145.470 MHz, -600, PL=94.8

70 cm 441.450 MHz +, PL=123.0

(located on Fremont Peak)

Both the 2 meter and the 70 cm repeaters

are linked together locally, 24/7,

and also “radio" linked to the KC6ERT

repeater located down on

Williams Hill in South Monterey County.
